The course will be available for 1.4 Professional Development Hours, and we plan on providing ASHA CE Credits, thanks to a collaboration with the CREDIT Institute. Instructions on how to ensure you receive the CEUs will be provided closer to the event.

Who is This For?

This workshop is designed to educate those interested in the provision of gender-affirming voice work. This includes a variety of:

Levels of Expertise:

Students, Clinical Fellows, Teachers-to-Be, and Practicing Professionals

Professions:

Speech-Language Pathologists, Vocologists, Singing Teachers, Voice Coaches, and Acting Coaches

During these two days, you will:

Learn from in-community leadership in the field of gender-affirming voice work
Gain skills: new techniques and perspectives for teaching GAVW to clients
Apply discussed techniques to explore your own voice in smaller breakout rooms
Attend panels: ask questions about challenges in service provision you encounter (or foresee in the future)
